We have stayed at the property in the past (under previous ownership) and it suits our needs nicely. Our priorities are 1) peace and quiet away from the tourist zones, 2) good reef snorkeling that's easily accessible, 3) kayaking, 4) pool. For anyone looking for these things (especially to relax away from tourists), this property will fit the bill nicely. We paddled out to the reef to snorkel, daily, and would paddle out to Hole in the Wall, the floating Salt Spray Mangrove Bar, and Mangroves Paradise Bar & Grill to hang out and enjoy cold beers. The property also has an excellent pool that if perfect for relaxing in, or around. We found the new owners to be accommodating, personable, and responsive.

This was such a beautiful spot to relax. Views in every direction.... The house was perfect: lots of room, well-equipped kitchen, and the fans were all we needed to keep comfortable. Most of the time there was a lovely breeze. The pool area was perfect at all times of the day. Nancy and Phil could not have been more helpful.... Kayaaks were such a plus for exploring the mangrove tunnels , restaurants (Tricos was by far our favourite local spot)...and snorkelling spots nearby. A lovely relaxing holiday.

We were two couples who stayed at Nancy and Phil’s two bedroom unit for 10 days. Location: The unit is located on a beautiful bight(bay), protected by the reef. A short 5 minute kayak ride to the famous mangroves, and through the mangroves to a plethora of restaurants and bars. The location is great if you want to be away from the hustle and bustle of the West Island. It is 30 minutes to French Harbour however the roads are very bumpy with numerous potholes for the last 15 minutes to the unit. Driving to the unit can be a nuisance however once you accept it is part of the drive it is not a problem. Amenities: The unit has everything you need for your stay. From coffee maker, hair dryer, towels, kayaks etc. be prepared that the microwave, dishes, etc are all order and not necessarily matching or in sets. Does this matter? No one bit when it comes to use however if you are expecting matching sheets, complete sets of dishes,etc then you will be disappointed. Bugs: There are bugs everywhere on the island and that is to be expected in a tropical climate. There were some ants in the unit however we’re not a bother and were limited to the kitchen mainly. Even with a trap and a clean kitchen they persisted for most of our stay. The unit hadn’t been occupied for several months prior to our stay so the high humidity in the unit definitely contributed to the number of ants. Electricity: 68 for ten days. An excellent stay, location, hosts!

Nancy and Phil are wonderful hosts and it was a pleasure waking up to the view of the Caribe point bay and watching the sunset. The pool was unexpectedly warm and refreshing as it's a salt water pool. It's a great place to relax watching Nancy's flowers grow and Edgar the chameleon coming to visit (and eat food out of Phil's hand). My wife and I would enjoy staying there again.
