Animal urine left in elator tracking through the front lobby. Stains on elevator door for 2 days. Bathroom showers not cleaned the past 2 visits experience. It appears that the quality control has gone to the waste side since the grand opening. Yes, We stayed here the day the city, business and locals celebrated the grand opening in the dining area. It’s a shame they left this place in the hands of local workers because it shows. We asked the desk clerk if they have designated rooms for guess with pets. She said “No, all rooms are available to pets. Now, I’m an animal lover but I do not bring my pets and I don’t want to stay in a room not knowing what dog has done their doo poo in and the rooms are not sanitized properly, some people are allergic to animal hair. Rio Del Sol has designated rooms for pets.

Hotel is great and staff were friendly. For a family trip though i wouldnt return there is nothing in the area to do with kids. The surrounding area doesnt look so friendly which was disappointing considering this place was actually great to stay in.

Great brand new hotel! I was pleasantly surprised by the property and service. Breakfast was included and the menu both hot and cold was awesome!

Clean, quiet and comfortable hotel/rooms. Only downside was the bathtub didn’t have a faucet to fill it up… had to use the shower head, which didn’t fill fast enough so the water was cold.

This was a business trip. Check-in was quick and my request for a first-floor room was accommodated. The carpeted hallways are very dirty with visible dirt and small rocks/pebbles evident down both sides of the wing. Additionally, the tiled areas in my room were not clean either--the bathroom and entryway. Someone had left a dog in a room (unaccompanied I presume) as it howled and cried for quite some time in the evening).

The room wasn't as clean as I thought it would be. Numerous hairs on the floor of the shower, the toilet had splatters, and the bathroom mirror has a lot of streaks. I accidentally got water on the floor from the sink and when i wiped it up the washrag was brown and i had to scrub it out so i wouldn't get charged any fees. As im wiping the floor i see a plastic clothing tag on the floor. So the bathroom floor was also not clean. Not impressed for the price i paid!

Good breakfast. Hotel was new and in good condition. Housekeeping could have been better. There was food left in the fridge and a used towel draped over the ironing board, which made me wonder how much cleaning actually occurred.

This property is new and wonderful. Our favorite amenity was a small freezer! We put our ice blocks in and were so happy we could do that. Breakfast is also great.

The facility is newer, very chic/modern retro style. The fitness room is superb-way above average. Room was clean & comfortable. The breakfast offerings and seating area was very nice. Overall, a pleasant stay!

The property looks new and clean for the most part. However, when we went to our room and started unpacking things, we noticed that things were not very clean. There was hair in the sink and other places around the bathroom, there was debris on the floor as if it hadn't been vacuumed, and something sticky and gross looking was all over the desk area. We didn't check in until close to midnight and were only staying one night, so we were too exhausted to play the room switching game, assuming any were available.

Noisy, noisy, noisy both in and out. Our ac unit sounded like a jet taking off and landing. The fridge was noisy too. The road is busy and next to I40 so traffic all hours that sounds like it’s in your room. Elevators were hot and puddles on the floor, a definite safety issue. Sheets and pillowcases all wrinkled and full of lint, like too many were stuffed in the washer/dryer. We booked because of good reviews, but we won’t stay here again.

Why have you not fixed the bathroom door design problem.
One can close the door and take a shower with anyone in the room looking through the door on inch wide crack and see the naked person. You should add a molding or rubber gasket to the door so others cannot see you in the bathroom!

I made my reservation on line for two adults and two small dogs. Nothing was said about a pet fee in addition to the room rate. Many hotels now accept pets without additional fees and I assumed this was one of them. Upon checking in I was told there was a $50 pet fee. I likely would not have booked here had I been given this information in advance.

I was surprised that my bathroom floor had gum or some other sticky substance in multiple places. It is a very new establishment and I expected it to be cleaner. The lobby, and sleeping area of the room was clean though.

Blood on the bedding. No shampoo, conditioner or soap. At breakfast there was no syrup and we asked and the lady was extremely put out that she had to get it for us.
