Hotel Martin am Dom

The location was perfect for walking through the city. Rooms spacious and comfortable.

It was difficult to find and getting to the parking lot was a bit confusing. This entailed quite a walk with our suitcases. It’s best to travel very light when going to Bamberg

Das Frühstück war von hoher Qualität und sehr reichlich. Es wird in einem schön renovierten Raum serviert. Die Unterkunft befindet sich mitten in der romantischen Altstadt und in der Nähe der Tiefgarage. Viele Lokale, Cafes und originelle Wirtschaften befinden sich in der Nähe. Man ist in unmittelbarer Nähe des Doms. Man kann bis direkt vor das Hotel zum Abladen des Gepäcks fahren, die Fahrt in das Gassengewirr ist für Hotelgäste erlaubt. Das Jahrhunderte alte Gebäude wurde sehr schön renoviert mit geschmackvollen bequemen Möbeln.

Die Bedienung des Schlosses am Abend war anfangs etwa unklar.

The breakfast was wonderful. A well done hotel. The room was large and it had seating. Great location

The facility was nice and modern and the people were nice. Location was good and bad. It was in the middle of town but it was hard to find, there was no parking and a dance club kept us awake until 3 A.M.

No refrigerator, no mini bar, no security safe. It lacked a completeness of service and amenities I expect from a hotel in this price range. We couldn't keep cold drinks in the room, they couldn't sell us any either, and when I asked for a glass of ice they said they don't keep it. That's amateurish at best.
