Really nice hotel. Very clean and relaxing. Lovely walks around the area. Breakfast was really good and our room was nice and cosy. Anne and Michael were really nice hosts and very welcoming.

Extremely welcoming and cosy. Great breakfast.
Ann greater us with homemade cake and a hot drink. Very comfy bed and a lovely location. A ten minute walk to an excellent pub.

Excellent hosts and the location is ideal for exploring Coniston and the surrounding area. Quiet and homely, with attentive hosts. Beautiful location with pubs nearby for an evening meal. Were were made welcome with tea and coffee, together with home-make cakes, on our arrival.
The plumbing was a tad erratic when we arrived as there was an issue with the boiler that affected the heating. But it was eventually fixed. Unfair to cite this as a criticism as repairs were speedily dealt with.
