Hostel Oslofjord

A very nice, quiet and clean hotel that normally serves as a boarding school during the year, helpful staff, free parking next to hotel, fast internet, delicious breakfast and comfortable bed.

Too far from the city center, putting on and taking off bedding independently, a small room, a raised bathroom and a very strange organization of the building plan, due to the ongoing road construction, it was very difficult to get there, I had to ask the staff on the phone how to get there step by step, it was a huge inconvenience.

Petit déjeuner simple, copieux et diversifié. Il commence tôt ce qui permet de profiter de la journée (7h à 10h).

Pour l'instant, il y a de gros travaux de construction de routes et d'extension des transports dans cette zone de l'agglomération. Donc attention, il est parfois meilleur de prendre le bus (numéro 160 à la station Strand) dans le sens qui s'éloigne d'Oslo pour prendre ensuite le train vers la capitale, ça ne prend pas tant de temps dans l'ensemble. On peut aussi aller directement à pied à la station de train de Stabekk en 12-15 minutes, le train met ensuite 13 minutes jusqu'à la gare centrale d'Oslo. Ceci dit, les transports sont faciles à utiliser et on ne perd pas tant de temps. Le mieux est de se renseigner auprès des personnes de l'accueil.

Easy to access from Oslo, decent for Oslo prices, and staff were nice.

Sheets and bed was very basic, had to do sheets myself, not ideal for a holiday, and have had this done for me in others hostels that were far cheaper.
