The apartment is relatively new, and the host Matthieu very welcoming. Only one small issue is that the lounge area doesn’t have lounging seats, only the bases of two single beds, no arms or backs, other than cushions. However, the overall comfort level is more than average. It is also in à very pleasant residential area, within about 900 metres of à bus stop for going into central La Rochelle, and plenty of parking, which, although public, it feels safe. À private swimming pool is a bonus for those who want to idle on occasion.

Der Gasrgeber war, trotz der sprachlichen Barriere, sehr bemüht und hilfsbereit. Er gab uns gute Tips für unsere Fahrradtouren und für Restaurantbesuche. Das Frühstück war liebevoll angerichtet und wurde im Garten serviert. Unser Zimmer war gut ausgestattet und verfügte über eine kleine Terrasse. Es gibt keine Beanstandungen und wir würden jederzeit wieder kommen.

Het zwembad

Karig ontbijt, geen kaas,vleeswaren of ei gezien alleen twee soorten jam. Wij hadden een erg kleine kamer zonder airco en geen ventilator of fan. Dit was de enige kamer zonder airco overigens. Gedeelde koelkast in ander deel van het huis.
