Everything was great! We enjoyed the property - very clean and comfortable. The host was great and easy to work with. The property is dog-friendly as well! We recommend this property!

Great property for a family vacation with kids or grandkids. No hassle no drama. Great communication communications with the host also

This is a gem of a property. It's right in the middle of Kill Devil Hills/Nags Head/Duck Beach area but isn't crowded or loud at all. My wife and I took our three teenage sons here for a week of beach days and seafood. It was so relaxing. Even with five of us there, we had plenty of space with each bedroom having it's own full bathroom. The top floor doesn't cool well because of the warm air rising, but they have alleviated this with a solo AC unit for this floor so it was not an issue at all. The pool area is fantastic too. There were a ton of chairs for sunbathing and the pool and slide kept my youngest entertained for hours.

The property is lovely, pet friendly and in a good location. The owner was kind enough to leave dog biscuits and answered all of our texts/emails quickly. He has no restriction on the type of dog. I limited the overall rating to 3 stars because there are no basic items, like sugar, salt & pepper or any other spices. No oil, aluminum foil, wraps, etc. There were no bars of soap or any shampoo (even travel sizes) in any bathrooms. I understand that the owner did not include these items in the listing; however, we have stayed at many rental properties that have these basic things. Maybe, it's because this was a new listing and the owner is not quite up to speed on what guests need. We brought our food to cook meals together, but had to go to the store for items like salt & pepper (which we left for the next guests). The owner provided only 1 bath towel for each guest, only 1 box of tissues for the entire property, only 1 full roll of toilet paper in each bathroom for 4 guests for 3 nights, (he did drop off a package of TP after our request) and just 2 dishwasher tabs (again, 4 guests for 3 nights). I was told that coffee and creamer are provided; however, there was not enough coffee for 4 guests for 3 mornings. Finally, inappropriately, the "linen guy" rang the bell while we were there to provide linens for the next guests, but during OUR vacation. If on the 4th floor, it's 2 flights down to answer the door and 2 back up. In summary, if you are staying at this property, it is nice, but you need to bring everything with you or go shopping when you get there.
