when we arrive Friday night the water service was out called Les and he told us some trouble shooting but didn't work. we have no water for the whole night. He offers us to leave the property the next day and he will charge us only for the linen. We told him this is a planned trip we don't want to leave. we try to go to the hotel but there is no nearby hotel. After a long back and forth text and phone call from Les h finally told us we can move another property for the next day. He told us it will be ready 1:00 pm. but the property wasn't ready until 6:00pm . We were a group of 10 it was difficult to move again we have spent most of our vacation time dealing with Les. He told us after we have gone through this, he will refund us our money until this day he didn't gave us any refund. Les is acting a nice person when you talk to him the phone, but he is not nice at all. He told me we will get the refund Tuesday, but we didn't. He is not answering my phone or my text.

This was our first time to Lake Gaston. The house was absolutely perfect for our family. The property owners provided everything we needed for an enjoyable stay. (Kayaks, life jackets, floats, life jackets, lawn games, etc, etc) Additionally, the property manager (Les) was very responsive and easy to work with. Highly recommend you consider this vacation home, if your considering Lake Gaston for your next vacation.

House was convenient to the main lake but just inside a creek so it was pretty quiet. Had a great week!

Loved every minute of this relaxing place. The teenager even hung out with his baby brother on the dock, the screened in porch and at the air hockey table. The best time was had by everyone. Can’t wait to go back.

Good place for a large group. Be sure to be aware that you must bring your own linen. Kitchen well supplied.

Enjoyed our stay overall. Nice area of the lake and dock easily accessible. We did not like having to take trash in our vehicle at the end of our stay.
