This is a new, modern and clean unit attached to the rear of the main house. The rooms were still spacious and the lounge was comfortable and a nice place to hang out. The owners had kindly supplied extras such as choclates, different types of milk (oat for eample) and granola which was a nice surprise. There was a private courtyard out the back had we wanted to be outside but we preferred to wander into town which was an easy walk. We had come down to run the great ocean road half marathon and this was a convenient place for a quick stay.
We mistakenly drove past the entrance to the unit which is to the left side of the main house down a small path through a gate. This instruction could be specified to help future guests. The unit is linked to the downstairs of the main house via a locked door. When guests from the main house were downstairs we could hear them clearly through the connected door. It didn't bother us too much but something to be aware of depending on who was staying there. We brought metal utensils (forks, spoons etc) as the ones provided were wooden. BYO glasses if drinking wine.

Location was good. The place was clean and comfortable.
Regrettably, the WiFi was completely non-functional during my stay. Despite the host’s efforts to communicate with me directly, it became clear that there was an unresolved issue with the WiFi router that hadn’t been addressed prior to my check-in. Additionally, the hot water supply was unexpectedly cut off due to a faulty fuse, leaving us with no choice but to endure cold showers, an experience that was far from enjoyable. These issues significantly impacted our comfort and overall satisfaction.
