Hotel Devgiri

Location, staff, cleanliness, parking was covered Quadra room 404. Comfortable stay.

Property was clean and comfortable but staff need to switch on the ac as soon as guests check in ! The ac was not switched on till we had to call the reception telling them ac not working so change room! Also mini fridge kept in the room is of no use as it doesn’t cool! When informed reception were told that maintenance staff was not available! Otherwise room itself was clean and good! Food in the restaurant was cold and seemed to have been warmed ! Breakfast served had shortages of fruits when asked them to refill no one bothered to do the same.

Hotel location & room is good. We can get transport facility to all location from there. But there is no space outside hotel lobby. All available space occupied for vehicle parking. Regarding breakfast: I didn't get 2nd day breakfast since we have to leave the hotel by 7:45 AM. Hotel staff have not arranged any breakfast by that time even when we informed & requested them one day prior and knowing we have breakfast included in the package. Hotel staff said they have fixed breakfast time is between 8:00 AM to 10:00 AM. There is no flexibility or consideration. Also it seems they have fixed breakfast menu. So if anyone want to book the room for more than one day then they have to relay on same fixed menu. No nonveg items included in the breakfast. When asked for one plain double omelet for my son they have not informed whether its chargeable or part of the breakfast menu. Later on while leaving restaurant they give me the bill of Rs. 100/- which I paid separately. The Hotel restaurants for lunch and dinner was closed due to festival. So not aware about that.

I don't find break fast time info available on bookings.com site. I could have not included breakfast cost while booking the room. They could have easily make some menu available to us by 7:45 AM. I recommend booking.com to get breakfast time details updated on the portal so that one can decide while planning for the visit. Also check in time 12:00 PM is too late. Major trains reaching and leaving Kolhapur is between 7:00 AM to 9:00 AM. There is no other option available.
