Cabin on Nantahala River! Dog-Friendly
Questa baita si trova in un punto strategico per apprezzare al meglio Topton. Sia Nantahala National Forest che Nantahala River sono raggiungibili a piedi.
Oltre a 4 camere e 3 bagni, in questa sistemazione troverai un caminetto e l'aria condizionata. Potrai giocare a biliardo oppure approfittare di accesso a internet e TV via cavo/satellitare: annoiarsi sarà davvero impossibile. Dopo un po' anche il ristorante stanca. Approfitta della dotazione completa di un forno e un piano cottura per preparare i tuoi cavalli di battaglia! Lascia lo spazio per i souvenir in valigia: qui trovi lavatrice e asciugatrice, per cui non avrai bisogno di molti vestiti di ricambio.

I stayed as part of a group of guys who visited the area with sports cars for the great driving roads. Wayah road is itself a really good road to drive, especially a bit more East of the property. The cabin is in a great location and has really cool views of the river, bridge, and mountain tops nearby. The driveway is pretty steep at first but certainly passable. Parking is good but a little tight for multiply cars. We could have parked 6-7 cars (we had 4) but the front most ones would be parked in. We would come back for sure!

The location is so beautiful! The kitchen is fully stocked with plenty of pots and pans, dishes, and glasses, and all the appliances are modern. Instructions for use of them are handy and succinct. Many cabins in the area don’t have floor rugs! This place has very lovely large rugs. The living room is very cozy. Plenty of towels! So many things that add up to a great rental experience!

We had an ok stay. The cabin was nice and it was very quiet. I did have some concerns and why I chose three stars. Hopefully, this will help and better the cabin. 1. The oven was very nasty. I don’t believe the cleaning company cleaned the oven at all. There were breads crumbs and food all in the bottom of the oven. 2. No Generator for this cabin. We lost power the fourth night stay. We had no cell service (no WiFi), Heat, Lights, nothing from 8:00 p.m. until 3:00 a.m. I would suggest purchasing a Generac Generator for this cabin. 3. Basement had dead rats around pool table and bunk beds. The main living area and upstairs were ok. 4. There was a strong odor (chemical) in the basement. Maybe rat poison? Not sure but it was very strong. So we couldn’t stay down there to sleep or play pool. 5. Public access ramp in front of cabin across the river. So there were people fishing right in front of your cabin daylight to dark. Guides were bringing customers in to fish right in front of cabin, from bridge to power plant. This would be nice to know before renting the cabin.
