Easy to find. Arrived just after happy hour. So nice warm shower after a long drive and downstairs for three schooners.
All good, I love old pubs.

I made an unplanned booking because my back was hurting during a road trip. Picked the cheapest place I could find, wasn't expecting much just needed a bed to rest my back and to my surprise it was actually good. The location would have been perfect for going around Sale its pretty much in the middle of town. The room was nice too. I had the one just next to the bathrooms. The room was clean, the bed was nice and comfortable. Oh and when I woke up my back pain was gone, so yeah, great.
The aircon had a wet towel smell when I first turned it on but disappeared pretty quick. There was only 1 bath room and 2 toilets available because the rest were being renovated. It didn't affect me because there were not many people when I was there but I can see it being an issue if they were busier.

Room was as expected. Bunks comfortable. Heater in room was needed.

Location, nice atmosphere in lounge area,
Room and Sheets were clean and comfortable mattress.
Kettle in room was handy.
Upstairs accommodation shared toilets were disgusting, smelled like urine, had my shoes stick to the floor which was grossly covered in sticky dry urine, second toilet had urine all over the toilet seat and bowl.
Obviously staff need to check these toilets more often as it was only when I mentioned it to bar staff that it was looked at.
Downstairs Lounge toilets were clean so I used those.
Pillows were nasty, cheap floppy tissues.
Byo pillow next time.
