Its self catering, but they left us cereal, milk , tea coffee, it was soo lovely of them

The location was peaceful. Bed was comfy and the accomodation was clean.

The step outside the back door to the small garden needs attention as is loose and wobbly. Would also suggest handrail down to the garden to help those who are slightly unsteady on their feet. To make more dog friendly fence off back garden to allow more secure area for the dog.

Somerset Countryside Lodge proved absolutely perfect for our brief getaway. Though we stayed only one night, we'd have happily remained for a week. The beautifully decorated cabin feels both compact and spacious, warm and wonderfully airy. The enclosed garden was ideal for our dog, who delighted in watching squirrels and listening to birdsong alongside us. We appreciated the discrete self-check-in, and while owner Meg was clearly lovely, we valued the solitude and tranquility without needing to interact. The thoughtful touches impressed us: fresh tea, coffee, milk, and cereal. Exquisite decor, quality finishes, and excellent outdoor seating completed the experience. Evening fire pits with hooting owls made this genuinely one of the finest holiday lets we've ever experienced. Highly recommended.

It’s very quaint

Great idea of making use of the space
