The location is really great with easy access to the M4 but also a great place for walking our dog. Parking is in a large, gravel courtyard and the cottage has a lovely spacious feel. Chepstow, nearby, has a good selection of restaurants and Bristol is a convenient drive over the bridge and along the M4.

Got married at St. Tewdrics and it was a perfect night before for bridesmaids and wedding guests!

Better than pictures - just gorgeous

A stylish cottage in a quiet location. With lovely weather we appreciated the outdoor seating and lawned garden. We were very comfortable in the living area and the bedrooms. Great communication with hosts.

Nothing.

The location was quiet and tranquil in a small hamlet steeped in some beautiful Welsh history. The cottage had everything you needed in the kitchen and was superbly clean and presentable.

The mattresses were not very comfortable. The lighting was poor - the living room could have done with some lamps so in the evening we weren’t sitting under stark, bright spotlights - it needed more ambience. There were hardcore stones all around the property so the smallest of steps could be heard. The shower entrance is tight as it’s positioned right in front of the bathroom sink and was incredibly difficult to get into to. There was also no hand soap or bath mat in the bathroom and the slip factor was HIGH. Be careful. Finally, attempting to do hair and make up at a dressing table with no accessible plug was difficult - an extension cable would be of great benefit.
