Perfect location for Gallovidian Gravel bike ride. Used this as our initial base and left the van there to collect on return (and stayed another night)
Had a lovely Sunday roast - good value

The hotel was far better than we expected. A real country house in a superb location in the forest. The evening meal and the breakfast were superb. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The upstairs was straight out of "Faulty Towers" in a good way, with lots of red carpeting, lots of landings and lots of doors. Loved it.
The bedroom was very small and the toilet was down the landing.

It is in a truly gorgeous location - the views and ground are stunning. The staff were brilliant and very attentive. The bed was the most comfortable I’ve ever slept in!! We had dinner one of the nights and the food was delicious.
There were dead flies on two out of three windows in our suite and a dark hair in the bed when we first got into the room. The toilet didn’t flush properly (they did get this fixed once we told them about it). The bedroom of our suite was all deep red and the lighting wasn’t quite bright enough so it was perpetually dark and difficult to get ready in.

Location. It was a large room.
Food was very basic and service was rushed. Hotel needed updating and a good clean. Plastic dusty flowers were awful. Facilities in bedroom were very poor. No tissues or water. Two small bottles of shampoo and body wash for two people. The shower was plastic cheap and dirty, with no water pressure. There was a wedding and non participating guests took second place. Was put in a room at the top floor and at the back of the house next to the reception. Not a good night sleep with the noise.
