Shortly upon booking, the host informed us that he wasn't going to be home during our stay, but since the booking was non-refundable, he found an alternative solution how we could get inside. The rooms are within an old residential building which is clean and well maintained.

Even though promised in the description, there was no breakfast provided—not even a simple coffee. I wasn’t thinking that this is possible in Italy… A huge disappointment! The spring mattress was old and uncomfortable, the windows were so thin you could hear traffic all night long, and they let out the heat of the room quicker than the air-conditioning unit could produce it. The shower kept alternating between hot and cold water during use. The blankets were not warm, maybe okay in summer but not in winter, especially when the old heater doesn’t warm up the room. The internet was unreliable, not working on the first day, on the second day for only 1 hour, and then completely disappearing on the last day. Additionally, the utensils provided were just cheap plastic spoons and bowls. This felt very disappointing.
