Just what we were looking for- a comfortable place to relax, enjoy some family time by a campfire and in the sand and playing in the water. Clean water and sandy shore. Friendly neighbors but the space felt private. It was fun to explore the lake and paddling around the islands. Bass and some pike can be caught in the lake. Indoors the space was clean and comfortable and was the perfect size for our family of 4 plus our dog. All essential amenities were there. The puppy probably had the most fun of all, and the gated deck was convenient when we wanted her to be outside but contained.

The cabin is directly on the lake with everything you would need to enjoy nature at its best. Fully loaded kitchen, coffee bar and all utensils you would need. The dock was perfect for star gazing or to just sit and enjoy the beauty of it all. The nightly fires on the beach roasting marshmallows brought back childhood memories. I would highly recommend this cabin.Mike and Kathy are the perfect hosts. They would respond to any questions or concerns if any. This was a 5 plus rating for us. We will definitely be back for summer and fall colors again.

We booked the place for 1 week in early August. The cabin is kind of old and there is no AC. There were 4-5 fans in each room and we had to keep them running at all times in order to keep the air circulating. We had to leave halfway through the week because it was so loud. I guess it is ok for the price and it is pretty close to Traverse City. The manager was very responsive but there was nothing she could do to improve our experience.
