Very nice place just a short drive to town...has everything you need for a relaxing vacation! Secluded quiet neighborhood and the owners were great ! AC broke and the owners got it fixed immediately

Location was good, a bit further from beach than where we normally stay but everyone quickly got used to the very doable walk to town/beach. Plenty of room. Everyone enjoyed their stay!

We were pleased with our Cherry Street Retreat stay. House was clean and all basics provided. Lovely “welcome gift” of truffle cookies and a growler (we didn’t get to fill it - but it was a nice touch!)
Less than 5 minute drive to 3 grocery stores (Meijer, Walmart,Aldi) and less than 5 minute drive to shops/restaurants in South Haven and the beach. If you really like to walk, it’s also walkable. Farm stands/markets also nearby.
Only main issue is the inaccuracy of the listing on VRBO and a small miscommunication about beds/bedrooms/bathrooms. This is a split level house with 4 bedrooms and 3 baths. 3 bedrooms on the top floor - one has an en-suite bath and the other bath is in the hallway. The lower level has a very large bedroom with 2 beds and a large “den”. While there is a laundry sink on this lower level, there is no toilet. Because we are 3 different family “units” with some special needs - the bedroom and bathroom configuration were not what we expected -but we managed.
We found so much to do in the area - beach, boat ride, low-key go carts and bumper boats, fun farmers/craft market right in town twice a week (we went on Sat and there was entertainment , too!).
Went to Saugatuck for one day.
Overall, a very good home for our family to stay in for a wonderful vacation.
