Amazing, beautiful old hotel that is restored… incredibly clean, easy to access. I work locally as a physician on nights and I would love if they would do day rooms for when I need a place during the day. Cleanest hotel I have been to in the area by far.

Great hotel. Beautiful inside and parking was easy. Our room was great and bed was comfortable. Its an old building so expect old things (floors, doors) but it was great and safe. Will be back with the family.

The hotel is quiet, clean, beautifully decorated, and very comfortable.

This was an amazing surprise. One of the best stays I’ve had family. It was like a condo. No reception you got codes for the lobby in your room. Big open spaces balcony in downtown Lake City it was gorgeous inside huge big chandeliers. It was not very populated at all. It’s not like we had to hold the building to ourselves. Absolutely gorgeous you will not regret staying here and you’ll find a way to come back if you can

Check in codes failed, the after hours service was able to assist after a few phone calls. Beautiful hotel, good price, beds we’re comfortable and room was clean.

I was concerned about walking to a nearby pub alone in the dark . Caitlin was working in the hall and I happened to ask if it was safe. She walked me over to Frankies. It was so kind of her! I did encounter a person living on the street. On the way back I did not feel threatened but felt uncomfortable because he tried to initiate a conversation and I was alone. Caitlin went above and beyond the call of duty! I really do appreciate it. I have stayed here several times en route from Miami to the mountains and hope to continue to do so. I am do glad I found the Blanche. I have recommended to several friends.

Awesome! Very nicely restored and beautifully decorated! Doesn’t smell old! I loved everything about this beautiful place right down to the comfy bed! Traveled from Oregon to explore Georgia and this was a nice start!

We got in at 1am and left by 9am adorable downtown area cute coffee shop 400 feet away. Would stay again!

I booked a queen size bed and was put in a a room with a full size bed. I called the Hotel staff and 2 hours later got a call back. She informed me there where no othere rooms available.

Everything was good except that the bottom bunk of the bed had blood stains on the comforter. Very disgusting and I’m glad we found it before someone tried to sleep under it. Apparently the cleaning crew needs to do a better job of checking the bedding.

Love this place. Bed was so comfortable. It is an old historic hotel so it does have that old smell. Room was comfy and very clean. It is in the historic area of town, places to eat within walking distance. Brewery right across the street. Nice view of a lake. It is right on the main street, traffic noise was loud but stopped in time for sleep. Check in is with phone so I never saw an employee and felt like I was the only one at the hotel, which I knew wasnt so because parking lot had other cars in it. My only complaint was the parking, I was in the lot across the street, which is close to hotel. No big deal other then if it had been raining would have gotten wet.

Love the place so easy clean and tidy....but i wont stay in 307 again, please....understood its a smaller room (than others stayed in before) but the installation of the wrought iron roller shutter INSIDE the already cramped bathroom, meant several times i scratched myself on the sharp metal edges...not exactly what i had in mind....

really enjoyed how quiet and clean it was we didn’t run into anyone during a pretty busy weekend which for us we like , i think the communication could be a little better but other than that i have no complaints

Amazing! Highly recommend to anyone visiting Lake City or close by. Entry to hotel and room by key pad was little unusual but EVERYTHING else was brilliant. Decor, design and comfort were better than all other hotels this trip.

Definitely haunted

Wonderfully restored, well decorated and incredibly clean and maintained hotel in an historic Southern town.

Beautiful property with a great blend of traditional and modern architecture and amenities. Support was friendly and prompt but access requires a modern touch as there was little on site support.

Fantastic definitely the highest class hotel in all of lake city, great bed for us and my kids loved the bunk bed, will stay here again

Great place to get away to and a great restaurant across the street.

The only thing i would say is that it is an old building and the walls are thin. Hint hint

Very comfortable beds . Walls are thin and could hear the guy snoring in the next room. No on sites person for assistance and the coffee maker did not work.

This was a pleasant little surprise. While you don’t have the usual amenities such as a gym or ice machine, it is a very comfortable stay. Check-in was simple and the rooms are great. The lobby is beautiful! The room does have a mini coffee make and fridge. The beds are super comfortable. Don’t overlook this place!

We only saw one staff member the three days we were there, it was a very different experience

This place was something out of a storybook. The timeless charm of this location was not lost on us. We thought the photos of The Blanche looked great, but it was nothing compared to how it looked in actuality, which made us feel like we had stepped back in time to a picturesque classic Hollywood movie set. Do not skip this stop if you're staying in the Gainesville area. We literally kept saying, "they aren't charging us enough to stay here".
