The Rose Cottage is beautifully decorated. It feels like home. It's clean. It's spacious, with a large kitchen area, large living room, large master bedroom, and a twin bedroom, altogether around 60 square meters of internal floor-space. Two bedrooms 👍👍 Three Toilets 👍👍👍 Two showers. 👍👍 Sheets, blankets, towels, soap and shampoo were all provided. The mattresses were good. The kitchen was good and practical. We found almost everything we needed. The stove in the living room is not a real fireplace. Excellent hot water everywhere in the cottage. 👍👍👍 The cottage is equipped with a washer-dryer. Consult with the hosts before use.

Sometimes cellphone data reception in the cottage was slow. The showers are small and cramped. However, small shower rooms facilitate for hotter air while showering. It's also faster to air out humidity afterwards. The master bedroom shower is a bit run down. The shower riser is hanging loose on the wall. The shower hose is old and should be replaced. There's some mold or mildew on the shower walls. Nevertheless, the shower floor looked and felt completely clean.

The fresh smell and home comfort touches in the property was very welcoming. Host has thought of almost everything to keep the guests happy. Thank you for the great 1 night stay (wish we could have stayed longer, will be back)

Not much to dislike, would have been nice to have fans / air con for the hot summer days in the top bedrooms

Clean Homely Nice beds Good wifi Easy parking

The fridge door opens on the wrong side

Location was close to amenities and close enough for short drives to the places we wanted to visit. Was easy to find. We pretty much had what we needed for a comfortable stay, washing machine with a dryer, WiFi was good, netflix was provided. Place was clean and tidy. Enough hot water for all 4 if us to shower.

Few gripes unfortunately...One of the bed bases was broken, we had to use a cot base we found under another bed to straighten it to make it possible to sleep on, owner seemed oblivious to it, but doubtful they wouldn't have known about it. You could see it was bent like a U before you got on to it. The outside bin was full when we arrived, there were no tea towels, scissors or a mirror in bedrooms and could've done with more pillows.. all would've been useful but only minor nuances. There was damp in lounge corner and mold around shower. Showers were tiny, stairs were steep and narrow and the ceiling comes down low, so.you have to be careful on the stairs as easy to slip or bang your head.on ceiling coming down.
