Could not ask for a better location!

Great location!!! All downtown Bar Harbor is within walking distance. You have to find metered street/lot parking and pay during the day - 2 per hour. Host is very responsive. We had a great stay.

Location location location! Walkable to all dining, shopping, etc.

The location was excellent. Shops and restaurants were within walking distance. The downside was there is not dedicated parking for this listing. It was not mentioned at all. It is an additional 25/day to park. We had a hard time getting parking during the day. Over night week days were easy. Weekend night was awful. Also the listing mentioned laundry so we packed accordingly. It did not exist so we asked the owner. He forgot to remove it from the listing so he refunded a nights stay. This was very nice however the act of getting cash, and go to a laundromat then paying 5/wash and 4/dryer and the time lost in dealing with all of that was really unfortunate considering we didn’t have many days in town to begin with. The rooms are very tiny. You need to shimmy to get around the room without a closet and the beds have crunchy plastic covers which makes noise when you move around. The kitchen has the minimum or basic supplies but is a good size and have full sized appliances which is nice. Lastly the carpets really need to be replaced or cleaned. There doesn’t seem to be much padding but is very flat. After wearing socks around I noticed my socks were covered in animal hair…a lot of it! I didn’t smell animals but definitely they have been there.
