Absolutely amazing experience Perfectly clean Great location

Quirky place to stay for a railway enthusiast! Perfect location, very peaceful, Accommodation was well equipped - lovely kitchen area with fridge, full cooker, dishwasher and washer/dryer. Cosy and warm and we noticed air con units (which we didn't need to use). 2 ensuite bathrooms with jacuzzi bath and shower with his & her sinks. Clearly no expense spared when carriages were removated to holiday accommodation. All in all a very enjoyable stay. Would definately stay again.

Decor was looking very tired and could do with a good spruce up (this did not stop us having a lovely break through). Floor in shower was a bit spongy and may need attention - felt very nervous using the shower in case I fell through the floor. Shelves were missing from fridge - again not a huge issue for us. one blind was broken in one bedroom but we were able to close it and keep it closed for the duration. Appears someone must have broken the mechanism for the pull cord!

The location was amazing, green all around and the visiting deer just outside were lovely to see. Close to Ironbridge, with lots of pubs/ restaurants in walking distance. We loved the quirkiness of the accommodation being a converted train carriage. Perfect for a short stay with family.

The quirkiness of this place is a real treat! The location was great. A pub within walking distance and the grounds for sitting out were an added bonus. Cooking facilities were available and the welcome biscuits were a nice touch. It was a real privilege to stay here in terms of being on a train carriage at a former station.

As mentioned in a previous review, it was difficult to open the door and ensuring it was locked was an issue. We actually sat outside the property for nearly half an hour as we couldn’t get in or get hold of the owners, and had to ask the guest in the other carriage to assist us when they returned. More detailed instruction would have helped. Carriage 2 is a little shabby. The leather settee was full of deep scratch marks, there were small mould patches in the bathroom, one of the blinds in the bathroom left gaps so that you couldn’t use the loo in privacy, and there were areas of wallpaper peeling off. The bed and pillows were also too hard for our liking. The general cleanliness could have been improved, for example there were crumbs on the side when we entered the property. With a bit of attention to detail and a small makeover this place could be as wonderful as I’m sure it was when it first opened to guests.
