I had one of the best enchanting scenic experiences in my life here.
The beauty of the landscape, the mango trees, the birds, the lake and even the grumpy cat was like-no-other.
The staff were humble, friendly and attentive.
I cannot recommend this place enough… my only regret is not spending weeks here instead of days.
The only downsides were the 5km broken road to get to the hotel, and the food was truly subpar. Other than that everything was beautiful.

The view and overall harmony of hotel elements: staff, facilities, views. It looks like a rich resort both from the lake and from when on land. The team and owner are great and very cooperative, can advise on surrounding area and help arranging a bit more adventures. Due to business activities, our time was short but I would return to stay longer to enjoy it in full.
Tip: find the avocado tree!

Essen und Service waren sehr gut!
Die Anfahrt ist auf den letzten Kilometer leider nicht gut ausgebaut.

Incredible and peaceful hotel. Yes the road is a bit difficult but take it slow and it's not that bad. Once there you will be treated to great food, excellent staff and a little slice of peace in Rwanda. It is expensive for Rwanda, but you do get what you pay for and in this case it is a large room in a beautiful setting and exceptional service. Great birdwatching, swimming and seeing Lake Kivu at its finest
The restaurant is close to the rooms and some guests don't understand their volume in the early morning. to be fair the hotel has put up a sign to try and negate this but this may always be a bit of an issue albeit very minor
