El piso esta muy cerca de La Valetta en una zona muy tranquila, sin tráfico ni ruido de gente.

En el piso de entrada sólo hay un ventilador y no hay aire acondicionado. En verano puede hacer calor. En el dormitorio con el aire acondicionado se estaba muy bien y se duerme muy bien.

The host was SUPER friendly and provided us with recommendations about food and things that are worthwhile in Malta. It was super close to the centre and the main bus terminal so transport was easy as well. It was spacious and because the bedroom was downstairs in the basement it was pretty cool compared to the unbearable weather of the outside world in Malta.

Because of the constant humidity the house smelt a little odd; especially the downstairs part. There was a dehumidifier but that didn’t seem to be enough but that was to be expected in a place where the humidity is constantly at a 85%+ and dealing with a basement

I loved the two floors for the place, it was very cute and different from anything we have seen before. The location was perfect, as it wasn't in the craziness of Valetta, but close enough to walk to!

The humidity in the place was our main issue, it caused our clothes to get damp throughout our stay. We didn't mind the toilet, but I can see how this can be an issue to others! There was also some cleanliness worries we had about the shower, as we think we saw mold but weren't too sure.

Charlene is very kind, she wrote us recommendations about what to do in Malta and we got a bottle of wine and water.

At first (and on photos) the apartment seems nice, everything seems brand new, but the bedroom is basically a cellar, therefore it doesnt have any windows, fresh air and it has a musty smell. In the bedroom a ventilation air system has been recently installed, there is a dehumidifier and air conditioning. The combination of these 3 machines means a constant noise which becomes pretty annoying after a few hours. Obviously you can turn them off but then the air becomes really humid and hot, so you dont have any other choice but to use them. As anyone can see the bedroom has an open bathroom, which includes the toilet as well. You may think that its okay for a couple of days but its actually not. There is no privacy and I think if they wanted to they could have built a normal bathroom or at least a seperate toilet, they just chose the easiest way. Overall we didnt spend too much time at the apartment, partly because of the thing I listed, so it was kind of okay.
