Great location and very quiet considering over bustling pub.

Conveniently located for visiting our daughter in Clifton. Good pub. Nice bonus to offer cereals for breakfast in the room. Quality radio. Comfy bed. Barstaff were accommodating.
Mouldy patch on ceiling/wall in bedroom. Milk in communal fridge was rancid and 3 days out of date. The “welcome” messages were more concerned with telling me how much I would be fined if I smoked or destroyed the room than being welcoming. The pressure to produce credit card guarantees was also overwhelming and unwelcome.

The tavern was nice, very friendly and helpful staff.
Small menu but excellent food, quite adventurous dishes
Nice shower and hot water
Entrance to the accommodation dark, hallway and stairs in need of decoration
Poor choice of cereals, not enough milk, one bottle of milk had gone sour
No internet or WiFi / TV for most of the stay , very inconvenient
Dimmer switch didn’t always work, switch was loose, bulb in lamp not replaced
Dozens of fruit flies especially in the bathroom
Very convenient if attending the theatre.
