This vacation home is perfect! The locations is great. A close walk to the beach, restaurants, shops, nightlife and markets. They have all the amenities needed for comfortable stay like bike, biggie boards, bbq, plenty of towels, blankets and comfy beds. The house was clean and well kept and did I mention the private parking. We will definitely stay here again and again. Thank you Austin for the great communication and the 5 star service.

This vacation home is perfect! The locations is great. A close walk to the beach, restaurants, shops, nightlife and markets. They have all the amenities needed for comfortable stay like bike, biggie boards, bbq, plenty of towels, blankets and comfy beds. Wonderful location, private outdoor space, cleanliness, and parking. The property manager was extremely responsive and helpful. I have made many, many visits to San Diego over the past 20 years, and this is my favorite place to stay so far. I am so glad we found it.

Comfy and cozy!! Very well-appointed place: all the things we needed to make it feel like home. Spices, extra pillows, a colander, a kettle, super comfortable beds, blankets, dark shades, plenty of towels. They even have boogie boards! The manager was unbelievably responsive, sending door mats that same day when there were none (beach sand!). The clincher for us was the enclosed yard/driveway. It was oddly cozy to be able to pull the car onto the gravel and slide the gate shut. It made going to the car to get stuff easier. Also it was lovely to be able to leave the side door open so the dog could go lie in the yard. Five stars, will stay here again!

Outdoor space is nice and easy parking. We enjoyed our stay and the location.

We stayed at this charming beach cottage for our family summer vacation. Our host Austin was professional and communicative. He made sure we had everything we needed during our stay. Check in and checkout was so easy. The cottage was clean, beautifully decorated and cozy. We had all the amenities we needed, including the use of the washer and dryer. My son enjoyed the outdoor shower! We walked practically everywhere; to the beach, pier, shops and restaurants. Thank you Austin for sharing your idyllic home with us!

The Surf Shak was a cute place in OB that was within walking distance of everything we wanted to visit during our stay. We had 5 adults with us and functioned just fine in there. Of course, the hardest part is only having 1 bathroom, but we knew that before booking the house. The house is not updated, but it was clean, and the beds were comfortable. We spent almost all of our time outside because it had a great patio on the side of the house and another sitting area in the backyard. Awesome places for enjoying the weather!! It was very convenient being able to park our truck in the backyard and close the gate behind it. Austin was very easy to communicate with and got back with me very quickly if I had any questions.

We enjoyed our 3 night stay at this adorable house, just blocks from Ocean Beach. Everything worked as described and we were grateful for this oasis to relax in after beach, sailing and shopping adventures. Besides location the most valuable feature is a secure parking inside the fenced front yard just steps from our door! Ceiling fans throughout kept us comfortable even without central air, a concern of our for a mid-July. The minor questions we did have were answered very promptly by the property manager. Thank you, Austin!

The home was just as listed, with all the amenities you could ask for. The outside was just as cozy as the inside, very relaxing to sit outside and read/chill... The host was very responsive and nice to deal with.
What a great surprise to find the home was located next to everything (I didn't do my research before booking)! Cliffs and Tide Pools a very short walk away. Bars, restaurants and the beach also a very short walk away. Never really needed the car, but if I did, it was easy to get in and out of the property.
Highly recommend this home, and would stay here again, if I'm ever in the area!
