Appartamento un po’ datato

Rooms v spacious, clean - got a fridge and small hob, microwave etc plus plates, cutlery etc. We didn't use it much but handy to have. Air con in rooms and nice balcony - we overlooked the back which was fine - quite quiet. This is our third time here - yes the apartments are fairly basic, however their clean, the staff are friendly, the pool are is great, no stress about getting sunbeds as plenty, also so close to a nice little beach. We really like the location - very quiet, not too busy but enough restaurants and bars all within a couple of minutes walking distance. Everyone is very friendly and helpful, great bus connections to porto cristo, palma, airport etc, we also hired electric bikes which was a fab way of exploring. Kayaking hire across the road - we did a morning kayak tour which was brilliant. Also a large Carre Four supermarket about 20 mins walk away which is handy for cheaper food, sun tan lotion etc

We booked breakfast and dinner, on the first day the breakfast items never got topped up from about 9.15 until 10 - which was pretty disapoointing given it runs until 10.30. Also the dinner was the same - we went at 8pm all desserts gone, all food choices pretty much empty and it never got restocked (meant to run until 9pm). Glad to say this must have ben a bad day as the next days at breakfast everything was regularly topped up and replaced. We only went to dinner one other night given it was so bad the first night, it was better but still fairly limited and bland. I'd go bed and breakfast again but not include dinner. We're vegetarian which probably doesn't help as fairly limited options.

Location, very close to a lovely beach and to lots of bars and restaurants

Kitchen facilities very basic but good enough for our needs. No mugs for tea or coffee just glasses

Proximity to the beach

Our balcony was dirty when we arrived - from a swallow nest in the light. We couldn’t sit on it as the nest was welded to the floor and on the seats and table - and we had nothing to clean it with ourselves. We loved the swallows though but just thought that the balcony could have been cleaned. We had to ask for clean towels we stayed 4 nights as booked an extra night
