Owners were very helpful. They contacted me in advance and informed me about the key collection and about the local area. When we left my daughter had left behind some shoes and I was immediately contacted by the owner who made arrangements for them to be posted back to me. Thank you!
This is an old converted building so levels are up and down and steps are steep with quite low ceilings in places. I think the owners have done an excellent job renovating the building and made best use of the available space but the compromise is that the bathroom is downstairs on the ground floor which is not the most convenient for night tine toilet visits. That said it did not spoil the stay in any way and I would definitely book again!

I loved the ambience and peacefulness of cottage
Everything was spotlessly clean and thoughtful welcome provisions
Thought from advert that cottage was detached and didn’t realize was on road corner , however there was little noise or disturbance

Absolutely loved the kitchen and garden as these made the place really special to stay in. It’s a very cosy house and a special place to stay- think it works well if you’re looking for a country retreat! I really liked the property.
It wasn’t the easiest to make baby proof but we managed- I did end up whacking my head several times on the low doorways (although they are well signposted) and there are a few sharp nails in the carpet.
