Location too remote. First room was awful. Only half a curtain and the so called view was non existent. Got moved to another room which was much smaller but at least had a “glimpse” of canal but the door had been bashed down at some point in the past and we had to use a dodgy key pad to input numbers. Getting to the room …. you needed a cut lunch and a water bottle. It was round corners down stairs round another corner and another and another …. In other words …… a nightmare. Thank goodness we didn’t have much luggage and are relatively fit. Worse still was the bathroom door which was totally wedged and could not open. They did send someone up to supposedly fix it but it was not really a good fix. First time one of us took a shower the entire bathroom ended up flooded as the water was not draining. Clothes that had been put on the floor were soaked. It was not a pleasant experience staying here. Such a shame as I am sure it was a grand hotel once upon a time.

Good priced, spacious room, clean and decent for the price, pleasant staff, nice burger at the restaurant
Noisy slamming of doors and can hear people through the floor stomping around at night. Boats mooring as well bit noisy at times. 10km hr speed limit into complex is a bit of a pain, smelly bathroom drain.

What a beautiful property. I came along with my son! When we entered the foyer he exclaimed “we are staying somewhere SO FANCY.” We enjoyed the facilities, we used both pools, our room amazingly deep bath with good water pressure in the shower too! We will be back!
Nothing. I was skeptical as the reviews do seem a little off putting but in all honesty we couldn’t fault our stay. Staff were lovely, restaurant was yum! Love the pricing, I’m not sure why people were complaining?

The restaurant and bar were excellent. Great value.
The staff were very friendly.
The bed was comfortable.

There were minimal amenities in the room - cups, cutlery etc,
There were young kids playing in the courtyard at 11 pm, which was very noisy.
The carpet in the walkway was very dirty.
It needs some TLC but the new owners are very pleasant. They need more staff rather than trying to do everything themselves

We had a lovely view of the water and boats
Paid an extra nights accommodation as we were on the midnight flight and wanted to go straight to our room at sleep. I informed them twice that this was what I was doing. However, they classified my booking as a no show so they gave my room away and had none available to give me until they got cleaned.

Ficar perto dos parques. O lugar em torno é muito bonito.
Limpeza. Realmente eles são muito ruins de limpeza. Dentro do box do chuveiro ainda tinha shampoo e Sabonte do hóspede anterior.
Vaso sujo... cheio de pó.
Sou Cleaner queria mesmo era lavar o banheiro antes de usar.
Eles não tem serviço de quarto pra nada, nem pra tirar o lixo .
Utensilios de Cozinha - Péssimo. O quarto era pra 4 ,tinha 1 prato , 1 faca... NADA equipado pra quem quer fazer uma refeiçao no quarto

The staff were unorganised when we arrived and obviously didn’t communicate - tried to charge us again (although they already rang the morning of to pay), didn’t know which room we were staying in, one lady let to go “check” our room and another man came from somewhere else and asked to help. I said we were already being looked after and then became rude. Room was not clean and we arrived at 5pm. Had booked for 4 people but only had amenities (towels) for 2 people. Lifts weren’t working. Stated would have a BBQ outside, but didn’t - didn’t see any balcony with one. No batteries in the TV remote so couldn’t work TV.

Kids enjoyed the pool. The air con wasnt too noisy. Room was tidy when we arrived. Parking outside our apartment was good.
One room had no plug, dishwashing liquid or cloth to wash dishes. The fridge was hanging out of its space under the kitchen sink. The tv was not working in one room. In that same room, the shower door had no handle on the inside. The kitchen light was not working. Emergency exit doors were jammed open with spoons, ice cream scoop and dust pan.

The lifts were broken down the whole time with no signs, and know one explaind that, we were on the second floor so it didn't impact too much but saw elderly struggling.
the rooms weren't cleaned/serviced at any time, no one told us anything and no information was given about pool use ect. One lady worker was trying to do everything and I think it was her week working probably ever.

the value for money
the owner hung up in me 2 times and proceeded to justify the reason because she is busy and is a value property and thought she answered my question but didn’t. i addressed this with her who is actually the owner who advised she is busy. I said the guest are the most important. She said that they are budget accommodation. I suggested hiring more people so that someone can answer the phone and gave the time to speak to the guests. she walked away, different cultures?

Good location, good aircon, comfortable bed, good shower.
On arrival, we were bumped to a smaller room, due to late booking by a family.
Lift out of order. We had to climb up stairs with our luggage.
Our room had limited consumables - especially milk, no crockery or utensils. 2 small mugs, no wine or beer glasses, no bottle opener. Emailed property for more supplies - no answer. Asked and received at desk for more toilet paper.
No power outlet near bed for CPAP machine.

This was a terrible experience for my family and there was no concern for our welfare after cancelling our accomodation the day of our arrived. We were left with a family of 8 with no accomodation for our planned family holiday. They knew maybe up to a week before our arrival that they had no power, water or air conditioning at the facility but we were not informed. When I rang 2 days before our arrival I was greeted by a Asian speaking receptionist who told me our booking was "all good" then hung up on me. Two days in a row I received the same response. We continued with our planned arrangements giving the receptionist the benefit of the doubt that they were an honourable business. Unfortunately they were not and left us stranded with children and no accomodation and a 3 hour drive to home.
We will never recommend or use your facility again and will tell everyone possible not to book through booking.com
Please teach your staff to communicate properly with customers and not to hang up on them, have enough respect tp talk to them properly and explain if you cannot honour our booking - at least then we could have sourced an alternative place for our family to stay.

Worst experience ever.
Our review is very long as the experience with this hotel left us so upset and we don’t won’t others to go through what we did. If we could give zero stars we would. We booked this hotel few weeks before our stay to spend a New Year night at the Gold Coast with payment on arrival option. A women called in the morning from mobile demanding payment. We said we are happy to pay but to make sure it is not a scam we asked her to call from hotel phone or send us an email through booking.com or hotel. She asked if we are definitely coming and when we said yes she said ok and hung out the phone. When we arrived the same women at the reception extremely rude and abrasive said no room for you, find another hotel and left. We stayed there speechless until she was back. My partner said we wont leave until she gives us a room. She asked us to follow her to the first floor where she started to yell at a young family with two small children telling them to leave hotel as she needs a room for us. She said she will call Police. A male explained to us they rent their room on a weekly basis. We asked the female (who was called the boss by another staff) not to get us involved and showed her that there are still rooms available on booking.com and other websites for $718. However, as the situation became very uncomfortable we just left very upset. Later we have found so many bad reviews on other websites then booking..com. The hotel was smelly and dirty. The worst experience ever.

Worst hotel to stay. No staff to find. No one at all.
Worst hotel to stay. First hotel was dirty. Was told A/c and lift both not working and did not repair in our whole stay. In three days no housekeeping was done. Cafe has worst food to eat. Would not stay next time. P

Absolutely nothing the receptionist was an awful human being
We arrived at resort to be told to go get accommodation elsewhere as they had no aircon and elevators weren't working, if we weren't willing to pay full price.
The older Asian lady was so awful

Pool, view of the marina, bar, the gentleman who apologised for the water being off. Perhaps he was the owner? He also worked in the restaurant
The cleanliness of the room (rubbish on the floor, cockroach in my shoe, bathroom floor extremely wet after cleaning and slippery. The restaurant was fairly ordinary and the hotel is in need of some upgrades and repair. The screen door was broken and we did not receive a key to lock the back entry door to the pool.

Bed was comfy, pool was nice.
Elevators Didn’t work, layout of the building was very ordinary, Sauna was not operational, was not able to watch any tv other than free to air, breakfast Cereal was stale, yoghurt as part of breakfast was out of date, not initially provided towels, mosquitoes in the room.

Not much at all really.
Everything. The amenities had not been topped up, the outside balcony flooring was peeling and covered in a slimy mould from the AC unit, there was a single rusty nail stuck in the ground as a door stop for the bathroom (easy for someone to step on or kick), the bed springs had given out and were uncomfortable but to top it all off the woman on the front desk was arrogant and unhelpful.
We booked earlier in the day for a same day arrival, we get a call a few hours before to reconfirm the booking (that’s all the call was - “are you really coming”?), we arrive, checkin and pay for the room to THEN be told the elevator isn’t working. When I questioned the woman on the desk her response was “don’t make this hard, I can give you another room or a refund”… I simply wanted to know why we weren’t told until the 11th hour that their 3 story apartment complex didn’t have an operation lift and she just wanted me gone - zero customer service.

The pools 2x are child-friendly. The room assigned to us is complete with microwave, washing machine, heaps of cupboard, 2x sofa, big fridge. If i have known, i wouldve stayed here for the rest of my holiday.
The booking said 2x queen beds, only one when we get there. So we had to sleep in one bed for 2 adults and 2 children.

The price was cheap and the front lobby was still nice but that's the only good things.
The lifts didn't work.
The basement was very dirty.
The card operated door locks didn't work so they installed physical code locks which means previous guests could still access the room.
The rooms were not very clean.
Only 2 of the 6 lights in the room worked.
The pool area was filthy.
The pool gate did not close properly so kids could just go in and out freely (highly illegal).
There were broken fittings in the floor of the pool that meant there were sharp parts to stand on.

Not much to like about it other then the location
The staff had literally no idea what they were doing, the young guy on the desk looked like he walked straight in and was he’s first day, we paid and he didn’t even know how to print of a receipt, we got to our room and key card didn’t work so had to go back to see him and he was so confused. Once we got into the room it was full of mosquitoes and had a strange smell to it. As we went to have a shower we couldn’t find any towels so another trip back to reception to ask for towels and once again the bloke on reception looked confused and said someone will drop of towels later. The aircon worked however it was not producing cool air and no matter what settings were changed it still would not produce cold air which made the night difficult to sleep as it was very hot, also looked like the aircon has never been cleaned as it was covered in so much mould and dirt. Definitely would not recommend staying here and I would avoid at all costs, will 100% never be back

comfy rooms and beds i liked the balcony
the walkways to the rooms was dirty, someone split some food on the floor, and the staff did not clean it up. it was there for at least 3 days .

Amanda the bar staff made the stay with her pleasant and engaging personality.
The food was terrible it seemed like frozen food heated.
Had to ask for clean sheets and towels after several days and was told it would cost extra to have your room attended too.
