My recent experience with the apartment left a lot to be desired. My family and I were excited about our holiday, but our stay turned out to be a series of disappointments and communication mishaps. Upon arrival, we discovered a note inside the apartment stating that the air conditioning was faulty, during a heat wave in Sydney. However, we were never informed about this issue before our arrival, which left us feeling frustrated from the get-go. We promptly lodged a complaint about the faulty air conditioning on the first day. We were assured that the maintenance team had been notified and would address the problem. To our dismay, when we called again the following day, it seemed that the staff was unaware of the issues we had reported. We had to explain the situation all over again. After numerous follow-up calls, we were finally informed that a technician was on the way and that we needed to stay at the accommodation for the AC inspection. We patiently waited for two hours, but the technician never showed up. A technician was organised for the subsequent day, but the air conditioning remained malfunctioning throughout our stay, forcing us to keep the windows open at night despite the noisy street outside. In addition to the AC problems, another consistent annoyance was the smoke detector, which beeped every 15 minutes, disrupting both our day and night. We reported this issue as well but unfortunately, it was hardly acknowledged and never addressed before we checked out. There was a visible hole on the laundry door. Coupled with the check-in instructions to report any damages upon arrival, I felt like we needed to conduct a meticulous inspection of the apartment upon check-in, an experience more akin conducting condition of premises report for a long-term rental, far from the hassle-free vacation we had envisioned. Very convenient location and easy check in/out. Had everything we needed. Great cafe across the street- must do for brunch. safe neighborhood.

I would have liked access to a broom to sweep the floors (2 kids).
