The host was welcoming and responded to all our needs promptly. The cabin was spacious and accommodated 6 adults and two children very well. The only issue was the children's room with bunk beds had no door, and was right off the living room. To our surprise the cabin was well decorated for Christmas as we were here to celebrate with our grown kids and grandsons.

This location is convenient to both downtown Ellijay as well as the river. We enjoyed our time in Ellijay. There were lots of deer to watch from the windows.

The place was great. Beautiful surroundings. I would have given it 5 stars, but we weren’t able to use the downstairs area at all because there were bees flying around. The management responded quickly, but we couldn’t use the area for our trip. I’m sure that it will be fixed for future guests, though.
The indoor pool was great with very sweet front desk guy.

Enjoyed staying at the cabin with our family. We attended the Apple Festival, visited some Apple barns and did a craft. Great space to hang out. However the driveway is very steep and difficult to park and turn around having multiple vehicles.

"We had a great time at Buck Watch Lodge. The cabin was big enough to accommodate all 9 of us! We enjoyed the amenities at the cabin as well as the amenities in the resort too. We seen so many deer too..."
