Fairy Mountain Retreat

This is where we just stopped and relaxed. There was no better place to do this at this little oasis. The team and owner at Fairy Mountain were just fabulous 👌 👏 👍 😍

Awesome Family owned Hotel. Perfect location and very helpful with sotes, motorbike rentals and what an awsome view from your room. Hotel was clean and very comfortable. Highly recommended.

Nothing it was perfect

This is a great and peaceful location. The grounds were absolutely beautiful. We loved staying here and if it were possible I would have stayed more than one night. The staff were nice and very helpful at every step. We had a great meal at the restaurant as well. Extremely important; bring insect repellant because the mosquitos were rampant at night. The rooms would benefit from mosquito nets.

So these are nitpicks I suppose, but the towels in the room were not extremely clean, and seat cushions at the pool were also slightly moldy and in need of replacement. The drinks in the fridge were covered in some dirt as well, but could easily be wiped off. These are small things, I still think overall our stay was wonderful.

The staff was very friendly and helpful. The landscaping is beautiful and the dogs are friendly. The location is quiet but still close to town. Our room was very cute in its interior design. The bathroom design was very nice, with stones for a floor and plants.

There were mosquitos in the room, entering from the bathroom. There is a private pool but it is glass and faces the restaurant, with a bright motion-sensor spotlight illuminating the pool. The pool was also very cold and the mosquitos were all around. We declined room service but returned to find our door unlocked and slightly open. The bed had been made and there were fresh bugs on the comforter. The shower fixtures are clogged and need cleaning. Mostly, the cost is excessive for the villa room and the restaurant, by a factor of 2.
