The cottage was so cosy and right next to the river. I could stroll over the bridge to get a coffee at lunchtime and the local shop was within a minutes walk. The host even provided an air fryer as there was no oven. I was having building work done at home so moved 7 miles to Arundel for 2 weeks. I work from home so it was nice to sit up in the bedroom with my laptop looking out over the river for a change.

The location on the River Arun is stunning. The balcony from the bedroom, the glass door and the patio all added to the impact of seeing the castle, cathedral and town beyond the river.
The bed is very comfortable and we appreciated the screened off loo upstairs!
The kitchen is well equipped.
Private car parking was a bonus.
As others have said there are no comfortable chairs for watching the television. In summer this wouldn’t be a problem as we would have sat outside.
