Room was very modern, clearly recently built or refurbished with good in-room lighting options. Great view of the river from our room (despite recent typhoon). Host was very kind and responsive on Booking.com using written English (translation feature) - despite not having spoken English language skills, we were able to check-in easily using photos (of passports) and calculators (for indicating cash) to help identify what was needed which worked well. A simple breakfast was included (egg banh mi and coffee) but we didn’t sample as we had breakfast as part of our Ha Giang tour. Overall very good value for money and they had us a room within an hour of booking after our previous accommodation had to cancel so they kindly got us out of a bind. Location is good and right next door to Mr Hung’s restaurant which has good, well-rated food options.

Check-in not immediately obvious. The hotel is part of a wider building. We arrived about 6pm and the building has a desk in the underground parking (floor B1) but no-one was there. We messaged the host on Booking.com to say we had arrived and she came right down 2 mins later in the elevator to collect us and take us straight to the room on the 4th floor. Although room is very modern, there is virtually zero soundproofing. We could hear noise from other rooms/bathrooms and the corridor very clearly until 11pm and from 5am so this might not suit light sleepers or people wanting to have a long lie. All in all, it was fine for a quick night before we did the Ha Giang Loop.

Douche froide Pas de petit déjeuner car personne nous a prévu que celui-ci était servi de 7h à 8h seulement. Nous sommes arrivés à 8h10, tout était terminé. Nous avons payé un petit déjeuner pour rien. Le personnel ne parle absolument pas anglais
