Ideally sized property for 2, though there was an extra bedroom with double bed. The availability of the sumer house allowed us to eat outside for every meal. Can't think of a better view down and up swaledale from the veranda and summerhouse. Everything in the house was functional and well thought out. Enjoyed the log fire on one evening. Thanks for the logs! Love the location with great pub (the Punch Bowl) very close. Also as it is on swaledale, access to world class walks and views was great. Property shared by hedgehog!

Very steep step outside bedroom was tricky. We placed a chair there to act as a handrail.

The quietness, the views and able to see the stars at night time

Fantastic location Very comfortable bed, lots of space Well equipped kitchen Easy off-road parking Local pub a few yards away (prebook table for eating), whole of Swaledale easily accessible from the cottage

Wasn’t easy to get logs so bigger supply would have been useful
