The location is ideal. It is a couple of blocks from two beaches, surf schools, cafes and restaurants and a grocery store. As it is on a quiet side street, noise is not an issue. The apartment is very spacious with a good layout, the kitchen very well-appointed and the private terrace with outdoor shower is a great bonus. As it was unseasonably cold and damp some nights, the air-conditioning units, which also work as heaters, were much appreciated. Check-in was easy. Definitely a great choice for families or a group of friends.
The bedrooms are a bit spartan and bed lamps would have been nice, but this did not detract from our stay.

I liked everything about our experience. Joao met us and gave us the keys. He showed us around and made us feel very welcome. He even let us borrow a baby bath for our little 2 year old.
It was lovely having 3 toilets and showers so there was never a queue for the bathroom!
My boy loved the swimming pool and the short walk to the beach.
We will be back next year with more people!
We had a great time!
There was nothing I didn't like. My family were very happy and we all thought it was one of our best holidays to date.
