Simple checkin process and good communication from the hosts. Property is in a great location with a fantastic view and an easy walk into town - as long as you are OK with hills. The beds were very comfortable and the property was spotlessly clean and very tastefully decorated with everything you need for a relaxing stay.

No breakfast, but the house was very clean and had all the supplies you needed.
The only issue was the heating system not covering the complete house with the same temperature. It was 20 degrees out so, that was a factor. The bedrooms would get super hot, but the kitchen and living area would not get as much heat.

Our stay at your beautiful home was absolutely wonderful. The house is warm, inviting and thoughtfully appointed with everything we needed to feel comfortable and relaxed. We loved the peaceful surroundings, the charm of the property and how perfectly it fit our time away. It was the ideal place to unwind and enjoy all that Great Barrington and the surrounding towns have to offer. The location couldn’t be better.

This house was extremely comfortable for us as a group and it was really nice to be able to cook and spend time together in a large open kitchen/dining space. The walk into town is easy, but the house and property feel like a private oasis. The hosts have paid a lot of attention to the detail of their home and we really appreciated their aesthetic as well as the practical components of their home. You can feel the thoughtful hospitality of the hosts even though they are not present, in the style and layout of their home.
This is really an extremely small preference, that may not apply to anyone else, but one thing that would be nice, is to be able to run the dishwasher on the way out instead of making sure it is run a couple of hours before departure. There is probably a very good reason for this (such as not leaving moisture in a closed dishwasher if the cleaning staff will not be immediately on the premises after the clients leave), but if possible, it would be nice not to worry about it.
