Boutique Hôtel Provencia

The hotel was very conveniently located near Marseille-Ville. Also, the receptionists were really friendly and the atmosphere in the hotel was pleasant.

Great location, quiet once inside, close to transport and walkable to city centre Area feels safe Plenty of nice restaurants, cafe's and shops close by stylish decor, decent breakfast, lovely bar/breakfast room opening onto garden Lift Very comfortable beds and nice bed linen Big telly Tea/coffee and fridge facilities in bedroom Large shower, good water pressure and plenty of hot water. View of the garden, nice sound of the water fountain

the sink is in the bedroom! no shelves around sink or in bathroom for toiletries/make up small soap dish only in shower, no shelving for larger toiletries, shampoo/ body wash no hooks or rails for towels in bathroom or around sink , make up mirror very high up Ceiling lights very bright and bedside small lights too dark for reading. Overhead lights not operational from bed. "blackout" curtains don't pull fully closed allowing light in. Room 10 would be very tight for 2 people -I was a single person- narrow passage between end of bed and wall, had to turn to pass through to access window, clothes storage, bashing off the TV on the wall. Some of the young female reception staff did not appear to be very interested or engaged with guests. Be careful when ordering a taxi; I took a taxi from hotel to the Train Station - a journey of maximum 10 minutes- booked through an Uber style "platform charged 29 euros!

Very good position with great connection to every main landmark. Very good breakfast and friendly, helpful staff
