We just spent our fourth year at Cantrell Cottage. We celebrate our anniversary at this lovely cottage on the mountain each year. The woods around us and view of the mountains far off across the valley in the mornings are just a few of the benefits of spending time there. Every room of the cottage is well-appointed, clean, uncluttered and tasteful. We enjoy breakfast with hot coffee and tea at the kitchen table, while enjoying the view. Sometimes, later in the afternoons, we grill on the back deck and enjoy the silence of the woods as the sun sets.
We always enjoy driving to town to eat at our favorite restaurants and especially like being there in February because the cold wind and temps make the warmth and cozy surroundings so welcoming.
We look forward to returning every year!

The cottage is so comfortable and cozy. This is our third year at the cottage, and we were not disappointed. It is clean, functional, and has the most wonderful views - especially from the deck, where we grilled out the last evening. Great area to walk in the woods and enjoy the outdoors. Easy trip into town if you want to go out to eat. We always bring all our own food because the kitchen is GREAT, and once we're there, we really don't want to leave. We spent four relaxing, stress-free, happy days there this year, and can't wait to come back!Comfortable bed...slept like logs! :-)

We loved the cottage, the only complaints we have is in the living room there is only a futon n it’s very uncomfortable .? They need a couch or a sofa bed. There is no television if you wish to watch TV . Otherwise it’s a beautiful place. I will definitely return. Hopefully there will be a couch or comfortable chairs. Enjoy your stay.
