booked a superior apartment so was disappointed that the balcony was right next door to a building site and that the view was not what was expected. Bed was hard. Did ask for toilet paper to be topped up as you could only buy very large packs at the supermarket but never received a reply from the owner

Overall very nice. Incredible views, nicely finished, clean and comfortable. Host was quite helpful. Booked us a taxi from the airport, responded quickly and checked we were okay.

Missing a few essentials for our stay: tea towels, bin bags, antibacterial spray, kitchen roll. Maybe some tea and coffee would be nice. A safe would also be a welcome addition. Worth noting the fridge turns off with the rest of the power when you leave the apartment. So you cannot keep things in the fridge unless you are there. Keys kept in a safe with a very insecure code system (easy to work out the other rooms codes) with an expectation that you leave the money to pay your accommodation in the lockbox (which we felt very uncomfortable doing).

Good location. Bit of a walk into Kotor Old Town, but there is a nice port area which closer and more accessible on foot. Also if you have a hire car then there are a few parking options in Kotor making access much easier. The apartment was clean and had lovely views over the bay.

There is a school right next to the apartment and you can hear children shouting from around 8am every morning during the week. The apartment is directly next to an active construction site, and you are woken by power tools, drilling etc. at 8am every morning - not very peaceful. When we arrived there was no parking available so we had to leave the hire car elsewhere. We had a problem with our air conditioning unit in the bedroom. Host was very communicative (up until we confirmed we had left money for our stay in the key safe), and then they would not respond to any questions or our ask for somebody to help us with the air conditioning issue. The shower leaked in a couple of places so we had to use hand towels to mop it up. We stayed for 4 nights and weren't provided with fresh towels at all. The host said that their card machine is broken and they could only accept cash on arrival. Having read previous reviews I'm not sure that they've ever had a card machine...this needs to be made clear before booking. We had a brief power cut one day upon entering the apartment. Luckily we were able to fix this ourselves as the fuse box was above the main door, but with the host's lack of communication this could have been a problem.
