Comfortable chalet near Samoens: Spectacular mountain views.

Questo splendido chalet con 3 camere da letto nel pittoresco villaggio di Verchaix, vicino a Samoens, ha una zona giorno aperta con cucina completamente rinnovata (lavastoviglie, forno, piano cottura a induzione e forno a microonde), un confortevole salotto (TV locale e satellitare + DVD + internet + telefono) e zona pranzo con un accogliente caminetto a legna.
Le camere hanno una vista incantevole e lo chalet può ospitare fino a 8 persone in 2 letti matrimoniali / matrimoniali e 4 letti singoli. La camera da letto principale si apre su un balcone privato con sensazionali viste sulla valle e sulle montagne.
Ci sono 2 bagni completamente rinnovati, un locale per asciugare gli sci, lavanderia con nuova lavatrice, asciugatrice, un sistema di acqua calda da 300 litri e stufe a parete in tutto lo chalet. Il parcheggio fuori strada è disponibile per 3 auto.
Rilassati sui balconi della terrazza coperta che circondano il primo livello e goditi l'ambiente tranquillo e la vita del villaggio. Goditi la vista ininterrotta delle piste da sci in inverno. I bambini possono esplorare nel grande giardino privato e c'è un barbecue per uso privato.
Chalet La Chenaz è un superbo esempio di uno chalet tradizionale modernizzato, molto ben attrezzato con nuove strutture, spazioso e situato in posizione conveniente a tutte le attività stagionali nella regione. È davvero una casa lontano da casa, molto confortevole e rilassante, ma anche privata e serena. Godere!

Lovely Chalet for a family of 5. Convenient for the Morillon lift and the local supermarket. Nice and warm, good appliances and everything you could need for your stay. We had a great skiing holiday.

We had a fabulous week. We loved La Chenaz and thought it really well equipped. It was very comfortable and lovely to have a balcony to look out on the most fantastic view. The region was terrific and especially Sixt Fer a Cheval (I hope I’ve spelt that correctly) - what a stunner, we visited it twice the second time to go rafting (Nunayak at Sixt) which was great fun, the best rafting we’ve done in France. A trip up the gondola in Samoens was well worth it for the views at the top and to see the paragliders take off. We ate in Le Mendigote one night and had a delicious meal, so would definitely recommend this too. My husband and children went cycling up Joux de Plane (hired road bikes from Antonioz Ski in Samoens) and thought it hard but a tremendous ride. It’s a beautiful area, the first time we’ve visited the Alps in the summer and would love to return, Samoens is lovely town and having the Carrefour so close was really convenient. The weather was pretty good for us, only two days when there was some rain, otherwise sunny all the time. Many thanks for a lovely stay, best wishes. Mary

Chalet was cosy but very comfortable. Having two bathrooms was a real bonus. Beautiful view of the mountains. Pretty little village but easy access to a bakery and supermarket. Loads of lovely walks, swimming in the lake at the bottom of the hill when it's too hot. Nearby Samoens is a charming place with good shops and a great market.

The chalet was possibly more basic than we imagined it would be, but that may be unfair as we are used to staying in villas as opposed to ski type chalets. It was comfortable and well equipped, but I was disappointed that , having been marketed as a summer and winter chalet, there were no comfy chairs to sit in outside and the garden was quite uncared for. It was also quite dusty when we arrived. Unfortunately we had rubbish weather for the majority of our stay so we probably didn't see the Alps at their best, but when the sun shines the views are stunning. The local restaurant owner said 2014 was the worst summer for 40 years so I think we were just unlucky! We enjoyed white water rafting through nunayak rafting and played lots of tennis, did some cycling and enjoyed the chair lift up to the Igloo restaurant in Morillon. We also liked the Terrasse restaurant in Verchaix. Amazing desserts from the patisserie in Verchaix also. Amanda was very helpful and friendly to deal with and replied promptly to emails. All in all a basic but comfortable place to stay.
