Very cosy feeling - no shoes policy and very clean

Surrounding area is not very nice but that’s probably is because of the strategic location close to a traffic belt

I had a WONDERFUL stay at Sleepy Raccoon. Muk, the owner, creates such a warm and welcoming atmosphere with his positive attitude, sense of humor, and genuine enthusiasm for helping guests make the most of their time in Jogja. He was always happy to share recommendations and local insights, which I really appreciated. The hostel itself has friendly staff and a relaxed environment that makes it easy to meet other travelers. I stayed in a private room, which was clean, comfortable, and exactly what I needed each day after exploring. I would happily stay here again the next time I’m in Jogja and would recommend it to anyone looking for a friendly, comfortable place to stay!

my favorite hostel in Jogja. Great vibe, friendly people, and really easy to meet other travelers. The place is clean and comfortable, and the staff are always happy to help. You can book tours directly through the hostel and rent a bike, which makes getting around super easy. Had a great time here and would definitely stay again.
