cozy and isolated. only concerns was the fact that one of the beds’ pillows were covered in dog hair (probably from the previous guests) and the wasps’ nest on the rear of the house

We were looking for a house close to Frost Valley YMCA. It’s a 15 minute drive and was very accessible. The house is beautifully situated in the woods and has a wonderful veranda all the way around the outside. Sitting outside with coffee in the morning is a real treat. The house is well equipped and the beds are very comfortable. It is warm, but with all of the windows open and the fans, it was very comfortable at night. Wi-Fi worked well. Kitchen is small, but well appointed. Very clean.

The location is amazing. So rural and quiet! Great porch and outdoor area. Inside the living room furniture was not the most comfortable, but we didn't spend much time there. The kitchen is well stocked with pots and pans and plenty of glasses/cups, silverware and plates. There is no extra bedding, so plan on bringing extra blankets. There is also no laundry facilities and Laundromat are 12-15 miles away. Downstairs bedroom with full size bed was the worst. Bed was fine but bedframe was large and bulky and difficult to get around without whacking your knees. Would be better with a queen size mattress on Hollywood frame. Would take up the same footprint without the bruises. Overall, a neat house.

We had a really nice 4 day stay at this property. The cabin is very nice with a great deck where you will spend most of your time. Kitchen has about everything you'll need and was very clean. The bathrooms are modern. The property is in the Catskill Park and there are minimal shopping opportunities, so be sure to get food before you arrive. If you want peace and quiet this is the place.
