Maria and Alfredo are super hosts. Our flight has been cancelled two times and the third being delayed. Despite a rough start, they have made us at home by helping us beyond and above, patiently explain us how to get hold of a car and took us to supermarket. The location is secluded with access to a pool and river. The outdoor space is amazing with a Mountain View dinning table, pizza oven and barbecue. Getting to town is easy, going to mount Etna and Catania is around an hour. There is an olive 🫒 mill (Romano V) and pistachio tour nearby. We got loads of olive oil from the mill !

Some bugs - exactly what you should expect in a countryside - and the window has mosquito nets

This place was absolutely wonderful—just 1 meter from the river when it’s full, truly like a dream house. Everything was spotless, comfortable, and charming. The outdoor area is lush and peaceful, surrounded by greenery, yet it’s only a 10-minute drive from Bronte. The owners were incredibly kind and welcoming. We will definitely return—highly recommended!
