The grandkids loved the place and everything from the beginning to the end was a pleasant and smooth experience.

The place is amazing. Where the hammocks are located it would be nice if there was chairs or something to sit on while the other person in a hammock. I did bring a chair inside from outside.A proper handrail going down the steps would be helpful. I felt like I didn’t have anything to grab a hold of if I should have lost my balance. They Eggs and the refrigerator was a very nice surprise so iwas a coffee and honey. We love tea in the afternoon and our selection was amazing. It rained on the day that we were there and because of the extra area that’s covered we enjoyed the tin roof.

This place is beautiful! Everything was perfect. No need to even leave the property. The animals are wonderful! Especially Duke the sweetest peacock great hosts, comfortable stay. Be back again!

The absolute best stay near RRG—already planning our return!The Barn Owl at Hooting Owl Homestead is easily one of the best rentals we’ve ever stayed in. The host, Lauren, is incredibly responsive and has curated a space that is stylish, comfortable, and spotlessly clean. We were especially impressed by the hot tub, which was relaxing and clean, and the backyard bonfire was a huge highlight of our trip.The kitchen had absolutely everything we needed, making it so easy to settle in. The proximity to the Gorge climbing and Natural Bridge is unbeatable, but there are also so many amazing things to discover just by exploring the property itself. All of the different stays available here look lovely, and meeting the friendly animals was the icing on the cake. We’ve decided we might just take all of our vacations here from now on!
