The location was very nice for walking around and a lot of nice restaurants and cafes nearby. It is not that busy of an area so taking taxis to and from places was quite convenient. Also, the host provided lots of additional items such as face masks, creams, teas, and coffee etc which made the stay very comfortable.
The apartment had good windows and provided ear plugs if needed, but as with the other places we stayed in Almaty there is some traffic noise. This area was generally quiet after 10pm so wasn't a big issue for us.
