Shiva Guest House

Location stupenda e magica dentro durbar square! Camera super accogliente e molto pulita. Tutto lo staff è stato fantastico e disponibile! È un posto che davvero merita, super consigliato

Nice location right at Durbar square. The room was spacious and clean, overlooking Durbar square, the shower powerful and hot. Got woken up by temple bells and chanting which we liked.

Mattress is extremely soft, too much for us. Tall westerners need to mind their heads when going into the bathroom. Slightly musty smell in the corridor.

I have stayed at this property several times in the past and it has greatly improved over the years. The room was very comfortable and relaxing, and with a perfect view directly on to the historic Durbar Square of Bhaktapur. The staff were welcoming and helpful as always, and reception even sent a porter to carry our luggage from the far end of the Square, and to deliver it to the room on an upper floor. Taxis are not allowed to enter the historic area, so this kindness was much appreciated. My best memories are of the bells ringing and people praying in the temples just outside the hotel. This is not "a production for the tourists," Shiva Guest House is in a very privileged location and a visit here is something to be savored.

Shiva hotel, room overlooking Bhaktapur Durbar square, absolutely AMAZING! The Manager, Kailash, quick, clear and honest answers to any questions via Whatsapp. VERY highly recommended.
