For a family with 3 kids, had all I needed, cooker, fridge, microwave, tv, cutleries and comfy bed. Close to the train station

No lift

location was good and central for all of Paris

We had an amazing and welcoming host. We arrived early, and she kindly allowed us to check in before the official check-in time. The same flexibility applied to our check-out, which made our arrival and departure days much more comfortable and convenient. The location is great for getting around the city by metro. The nearest station, Barbès–Rochechouart, is area with some shady individuals, but since this was our second time staying in the neighborhood, it wasn’t a surprise or an issue for us. A fantastic boulangerie right outside meant we could enjoy fresh croissants and baguettes every morning for breakfast. Our group traveled with a one-year-old baby, so here’s a useful tip: if you’re bringing a stroller, consider taking a bike lock with you. You can leave the stroller on the ground floor, securely locked to the staircase, as there is no elevator in the building. We really appreciated that the apartment had both a washing machine and a dishwasher, which was especially helpful for our group of four adults and a toddler. In fact, the apartment felt even better equipped in person than it appeared in the photos. :)
