Lovely, cosy accommodation, and appreciated the welcome gifts and cooking extras in the kitchen as I was just there for a few days. Very peaceful park surrounded by fields, was about 15 minutes walk from Dornoch. I think the owners have put in a lot of thought when it comes to the comfort of their guests. It was spotlessly clean and all the furnishings in very good condition. Light and airy and I liked being able to sit on the deck in the sunshine.
The only thing I wasn't keen on and is quite minor compared to all the boxes ticked, is that I really don't like the smell of fabric conditioners, so the bedding smelt a bit overpowering to me. I struggled with the Wifi, but to be honest, sometimes a bit of digital detox can be a good thing, and I probably spent more time listening to the birdsong and watching the sun go down behind the trees as a result... :-)
