Hotel Le Chevalier Bleu

Everything! A beautiful place to stay - wholeheartedly recommend it. The outside pool area was such a bonus - we didn’t use the pool but we enjoyed sitting in the sun with a relaxing drink when we arrived. Asked for some crisps with my wine which they didn’t have- but 10 mins later the gentleman brought us a portion of fabulous home made quiche cut into bite size pieces to enjoy with our drinks - so thoughtful. The location is excellent & our room was simply stunning. The bed & pillows were a dream as were the shower facilities. The gentleman who checked us in was very kind patient & helpful - as was the lady who checked us led us out !

There is nothing to dislike about the property ! But I would just add - we only stayed one night on our journey back through France heading for home & it was on the 23 September. Unfortunately when it came to finding somewhere for an evening meal - there was only 1 restaurant open that was not surprisingly - fully booked ! Everywhere else had stopped opening for evening meals ! We hadn’t expected that ! We found one wine bar open that offered a meat & cheese platter and that was our evening meal !

Perfect location, nice size, friendly staff

The hotel was amazing and the staff were lovely. We were very well looked after and nothing was too much. The hotel itself is perfectly situated right next to Monpazier town square. The rooms were a lot bigger than we were expecting and amazing value for money. We loved relaxing by the pool area with a few drinks after a long day of exploring.

There was very little space to hang wet towels. The hotel is environmentally friendly (which we loved) so the towels are replaced every few days, this meant it was difficult to keep towels and bath mats dry with only 2 hooks.
